13/05/10 update on the 14th

After I wrote the last post we stopped for dinner in this little beachside town. We ate at a pizza bar that had about 7-8 local ales. We in england regard America as a pretty barren place as far as proper beer goes, but actually their real ale is fantastic. I had a really nice dark ale with my pizza. The bar also had a rubiks cube. I obvously started playing with it and the guy at the bar said that if I completed it I would get a free beer. So a few minutes later I had a couple of impressed looks and a free pit of ale! I knew those cubing skills would pay off eventually :D
