(reporting on the 25th)
Yesterday we went into Miami, specifically South Beach, the Deco District. Amazing. Such a cool place. The whole beach front consists of 50's Art Deco buildings, all white with bright colours, curves and regular shapes synonymous with Art Deco architecture. The weather was great too, not at all cool like the buildings. By midday it was nicely in the 90's (Fahrenheit) so about 35 degrees C. We spent a while wandering around soaking up the scene and looking for souvenirs. G0N is collecting pin badges from wherever we go, I am getting a penny crushed by those machines you see everywhere, apart from South Beach that is. Couldn't find one :(. We did however find a cache.
After checking out the town we hit the beach. Very nice it was too. A huge long beach with golden sand and aquamarine waters. G0N brought this cool ball that bounces off the water as he has described in his post. Very cool :P
Once we had done the beach we got on the road again, this time heading north! We managed as far as Lake City where we spent the night.
